You know what it feels like. You have experienced it more times than you care to admit. I’m talking about that mounting feeling of pressure when overwhelm is about to knock you down again. When the day seems too long and the assignment too BIG. When the steps you take don’t seem to be long enough to get you where you want to be. When the dream in your heart seems impossible and a part of you has forgotten to enjoy the journey and ignored the beauty in the process. When every thing has become just a little too much. Well, I may not be able to solve your specific business or personal challenge, but I have a simple idea for taking the immediate pressure off and finding a reason to laugh. And let’s face it, everybody knows that laughter is good for the soul.
It’s simply time for a dance break! You read it right. When you take your 15 minute bathroom and snack break use at least 3 of those minutes to dance. Stick that ipod on and head to the bathroom if you need the privacy or just dance right there in the street. You can get your groove on without the humping and grinding can’t you (I want you to have job when it’s over)?
And some of you are in charge and overwhelmed. The meeting has ended and you have 3 more before the day is over. Close the door and turn the music up right there in the office and just dance. Break this thing up. Re-ignite yourself by doing a little something different. Have a little fun in the unexpected places. And yes, as you know today’s humble suggestion is make like Michael and DANCE!!! Just do it. Sssshhh, no body has to know. Well, that’s my simple, little reminder. See you next week!
